Mary Lue Ball, who has owned businesses in historic downtown Branson since 1955, has teamed up with show producer Eric "Rico J" Johnson. Together, they've recently opened Branson Hot Hits Theatre and Hot Hits Coffee & Tea Café on Commercial Street in downtown. Shows start at 10 a.m. with "Isle of Dreams," a musical biblical play that is an inspirational story of hope. "Rico J" produces two shows: "The Hot Hits Experience" and "Chico Vega of The Drifters." These shows are at 2:30 and 8 p.m. and feature hits from the '50s through the '70s. During the show, two-time female vocalist of the year Dee Dee Hamilton pays tribute to The Platters, Tina Turner, Drifters and Motown.
